Holden Caulfield, Hermione Granger, or one of those creepy Twilight Vamps?

Ah, Halloween. I, for one, have always loved costume parties and wish they could happen every weekend. When I was in college, my friend Nina and I had scores of them: Russian Nightclub, Bar Mitzvah, etc. But this weekend, simple Halloween will have to do.

Anyone have any good literary costumes? I think maybe I'll do Anna Karenina on the train-tracks. Or maybe Sylvia Plath with an easy-bake (and therefore more portable) oven. Anyone else care to chime in?

At the bookstore yesterday, we were joking that I should go as Alice Munro. I just need a white wig and a Canadian accent! Aboot! Eh?

I was Genji once. Loved having a moustache.
